Suranne Jones

Sarah Anne Jones, better known as Suranne Jones, is an actor and producer hailing who hails from England. Suranne Jones is an actor and producer from England. She gained fame playing Ruth Slater, the detective in a crime procedural called 'Scott & Bailey and in addition to Gemma Foster, the GP in the medical drama 'Doctor Foster.' Originating from Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones has joined her first theatre group, the Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at the Oldham Theatre Workshop. When she was just eight and began her acting career, she was in a show called "Wait till Dark. The character she played was Gloria. She made her debut on screen in 1997 when she played an actress in an episode of "Coronation Street". In 2000, she was reintroduced on the soap opera to play Karen McDonald. After she left the ITV soap opera the show, she appeared in a number of TV shows like 'Vincent' "Strictly Confidential" as well as "Harley Street".
